Mr Amitabh Thacoor is a substantive consultant plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon holding NHS consultant posts at St George's Hospital, London and the Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford. He brings a highly trained, evidence-based approach to every procedure — whether aesthetic, reconstructive, or oncological.
His practice focuses on the management of all benign and malignant skin conditions as well as aesthetic surgery of the face, breast and body refined through years of specialist training and a dedicated aesthetic surgery fellowship in London.
Mr Thacoor undertook all his general and plastic surgical training in London on the prestigious Pan-Thames rotation at several centres of excellence including Guys and St Thomas' Hospitals, Great Ormond Street Hospital and St Andrew's Centre for Plastic Surgery amongst others before becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and joining the GMC Specialist Register.
Mr Thacoor undertook a dedicated aesthetic surgery fellowship at the prestigious Weymouth Street Hospital, one of London's foremost private surgical institutions, consolidating advanced techniques across the full spectrum of cosmetic and aesthetic surgery.
